Does Greens only supply tapware?

Not only do we supply beautiful NZ designed tapware we also offer amazing shower options which include exclusive KIWI ingenuity. While you’re there, why not make over the entire bathroom and add in some matching accessories.

Do rain showers use more water than a regular shower?
Well, that depends on how long you stay in there once you feel the difference, but no, our technology is about how we disburse the water through our exclusive designs, however its not our fault if you don’t want to leave your shower.
How do I know what shower is best for me?
Well, that depends on what you want from your shower. What Is Rainboost® Technology?

Okay let’s get technical, our RainBoost® technology shower helps promote a good night’s sleep, by creating a full coverage soft experience which will make a world of difference in your daily showering experience. RainBoost® shower technology has been specifically designed and developed for varying water pressure conditions.

Engineered to maximise shower flow and coverage out of low pressure water systems down to 10kPa, as well as performing on high water pressure systems. For unrivalled performance on low pressure or gravity fed systems ensure you combine it with a Greens shower mixer with a low pressure cartridge suitable for all pressures.

What Is AirFlo™ Technology?

The AirFlo® shower range uses advanced technology to push air into the water stream to filling the water droplets with tiny bubbles of air to create a wonderful, invigorating spray. AirFlo® features an adjustable multifunction spray handset with three spray patterns - normal, massage, and combined. It comes in both round (Glint) and square (Swept) designs to match your décor and, better yet, is still water efficient with a 3 Star WELS rating.

I'm doing a small make over can I fit a twin rail if I only have a handheld?

Yes! But some will be easier than others.

Can I go from 2 taps to a 1 tap mixer?

Technical

The touch sensor has stopped working on my Kontact mixer

Please check and ensure that the handle of the tap is in the ON position to allow free water flow. If the mixer is on and there is still no response to the touch sense follow the following video instruction.

If after following the instructions for resetting the touch sense your mixer still foes not operate, please proceed to the instructions for turner into manual mode

Do I need to hire a plumber to replace my cartridge?

No. Replacing a cartridge is reasonably easy, here are the steps.

1. For wall mixers, turn off water at the mains. Basin / Sink you may have mini taps which you can switch off, if not available switch off at mains.

2. Locate and remove grub screw cover. This could be under the front or rear of handle.

3. With an allen key, loosen Grub screw that holds on the handle.

4. Remove handle, and Remove cartridge dome by pulling away or twist off.

5. Undo Cartridge Retaining nut with a shifter or spanner.

6. Remove cartridge, this can be tight so pliers maybe required.

7. Replace Cartridge and ensure the locating pins are pushed into the body of the mixer.

8. Re-assemble in reverse order.

9. Turn on water at the mains and check for leaks.

Do I need a registered plumber to install my tap?

Yes. It is recommended that the plumber follows the installation instructions enclosed with the product, this sheet details essential information including the maximum water pressure.

Are blockages covered under warranty?

No. Blockages are not considered a product fault.

Maintenance and Care

How do I clean my Greens Tapware products?

Products should be cleaned with a soft cloth and water. No micro fibres as these are abrasive. Never use harsh detergents, solvents or acidic cleaners, citrus based cleaners, lime scale removers, household vinegar, and cleaning agents containing acetic acid on any Products as these will scratch and damage the surface.

Additionally, use of wax based furniture cream should be avoided as these can result in a build-up of deposits, which could detract from the appearance.

Any damage caused by the use of unsuitable cleaning products will not be covered by warranty.

How To Create An Account To Register Products?

1. Visit the Greens, product registration portal website: www.greenstapware.com.au/my-account/
2. Create an account using the following information:

  • First & Last Name
  • Company/Organisation Name (optional)
  • Email Address
  • Password
  • Country
  • Residential Address
  • Mobile Number

3. Setup 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) using your email and/or phone number.
4. Click on “Create Account” to complete the account creation process.

How To Register Products?

1. Login to your account and click on “Add New Registration” to begin the registration of your products.
The following Information will be required in order to successfully register a product.

  • Product Name - Select your product from the drop down box
  • Purchase Date - Refer to your invoice for the purchase date
  • Purchased From - Vendor/store name

2. Click on “Choose File” and upload a copy of the product invoice and installation invoice.
Note - The product invoice must show the product name, purchase date and where the product was purchased from.
The Installation invoice must show the company's name, ABN number and the date of installation.
3. Agree to the warranty terms and conditions by ticking the box.
4. Click on "Register New Product" to complete the registration.

Why is the standard for tapware changing?
FAQ item answerThe Australian Building Codes Board have reviewed studies in Australia and overseas that demonstrate the long term health benefits of using low lead plumbing products. Select European countries and North America have already made this transition.

What ranges of tapware will be impacted by this change?

Under the 2022 National Construction Code, this new standard will impact any plumbing product that contains copper alloy and is in contact with drinking water.

When will all Greens tapware meet this Low Lead criteria?

All impacted Greens products that come into contact with drinking water will be low lead by 1 September 2025, however, we will continue to evolve all our tapware collections ahead of this deadline.
